Gabriel and myself went out a few days ago to snap some pics of the newly released 3sixteen + denim. It was a pretty fun time. Head on over to the Denim Debate to see all the details. A big thanks to Mr. Toth-fejel for helping me document these outstanding pants. I look forward to participating as much as possible.
"A series of looped stitches that form a chain-like pattern.
Chainstitching pulls the denim at slightly different tensions on either
side, causing the distinctive ‘roping’ that really shows the beauty of
worn indigo-dyed denim"
My friend, Evan Chang stopped by the shop on his way to Eugene for the week. His Samurai denim was looking ridiculous. Hige fade is out of control on these things. Only 7 months old and no wash. You can still snag yourself a pair at Blue In Green.
Big ups to Ryan over at the Denim Debate for recently including my Eternal 811's in the mix. Pop on over to their site to check out a comprehensive assortment of Japanese and American denim. all in one place. Lots of really great info for those of you interested in learning more about this whole selvedge, "raw" thing. This is full on denim nerd stuff. Like seriously... dudes documenting the wear and tear on their denim over time. HI-res pics and all. Interesting stuff if you're bothered to care about this sort of thing. Then again, they're just jeans.
