Now that the spring season is in full swing and the hot months loom on the horizon. I figured I should probably find something a bit more comfortable to wear during the day other then jeans. Unfortunately, finding nice items in Portland can be somewhat of a chore unless you know exactly where to look. Thankfully, the fine ladies over at Francis May had just thing thing I was looking for. Lightweight cotton chambray shorts by Unis. The construction, detail and quality of the shorts is far above and beyond what you would come expect. While some people may be averse to the short-shorts, I find them to be the perfect casual look and they would certainly work well in any number of styles. Since I seem to be decked out in all blue everything lately, I had to have them. I can pretty much wear them with anything in my closet.
Fit details: 45 rpm jacket, Engineered Garments chambray shirt, 3sixteen/Tanner Goods belt, Self Edge feather ring, Unis shorts, Woodlands/Parrot Canvas bag.
That jacket is a thing of beauty! I'm scouring for a good light blue button-up jacket as well. I've come across this so far:
